ASMEC Financial Crime Prevention Team

Financial Crime Prevention Team (FCP Team)

🛡️

The Financial Crime Prevention Team (FCP Team) is responsible for overseeing financial crime risks within the DIFC. This includes supervising and monitoring all Relevant Persons for compliance with applicable AML (Anti-Money Laundering), CTF (Combating the Financing of Terrorism), and Sanctions legislation, rules, and requirements.

The FCP Team employs a range of tools, analytical methodologies, and regulatory approaches to effectively engage, identify, monitor, mitigate, and report potential or actual AML/CTF/Sanctions threats, vulnerabilities, and cases of non-compliance involving Relevant Persons in the DIFC.

Through its proactive and risk-based oversight, the FCP Team supports ASMEC’s mission to uphold integrity, transparency, and global standards across the financial system.
